How it works

A buy climbs down.A fee burns up.

pump.fun lets a coin be quoted in another pump.fun coin. Chainpad builds chains out of that, and closes the loop with the creator fee.

  1. 01 · Launch

    Pick a parent.

Any pump.fun coin, or PUMP. The window checks on chain whether pump.fun accepts it as a pair today. If it does, your coin is quoted in it. If the parent is already as deep as pump.fun allows, your coin is quoted in SOL and linked by fees instead. One transaction: pump.fun's create, the 0.005 SOL link fee and a memo naming the parent.

  2. 02 · Buy

    Pay in SOL.

The route starts at the top of the chain. Under PUMP it buys PUMP through Jupiter, then pump.fun's multi-hop swap buys each coin with the one above it, ending in yours. You see the whole path and the minimum you will get before you sign.

  3. 03 · Burn

    Fees go up, not out.

Every few minutes the keeper sweeps each coin's creator fees. A pair coin's fees are already in its parent, so they are burned as they are. A fee coin's fees are SOL: the keeper buys the parent down its chain and burns that. The burned share shows on every row as supply burned.

  4. 04 · Depth

    The cap is pump.fun's.

pump.fun's global config sets how deep a pair can sit, and it reads – right now. A coin quoted in SOL, PUMP or a listed token sits at depth 0, so today the longest pure pair chain is PUMP, then one coin, then one more. Fee links carry a chain past that, and they turn into pair links on their own for new coins once pump.fun raises the cap.

Trust

What you rely on.

pump.fun

Every coin is a normal pump.fun coin: its curve, its pool, its fees. Chainpad adds no contract in the trading path.

The keeper

Holds each coin's creator key and runs the burns. If it stops, fees wait in pump.fun's vaults until it runs again. A dishonest keeper could keep them, so the burns are on chain for anyone to check.

Jupiter

Only for the first leg of chains rooted in a token without a pump.fun curve, such as PUMP. Its quote sets the minimum the rest of the route starts from.
